Tribute, Inc. is growing and celebrating milestones this year. 2014 marks the twentieth anniversary of Tim Reynolds’ acquisition of Tribute, Inc. from B.W. Rogers Company.
Acquiring the firm in 1994, Tim Reynolds quickly grew the software company and established a loyal distributor customer base by promoting a user’s group and program review board which are actively involved in industry-focused feature development.
Looking ahead, Tim invested in developing a Windows SQL-based software aimed at the same industrial distribution market segment, resulting in the TrulinX Software System, introduced in 2003.
With growth of over 3,000% since its inception, the TrulinX customer base continues to grow as does the Tribute team. Joining Tribute this year are Sheri Tinker (Customer Support / Financials), Jamie Schott (TrulinX Support), and Katie Kaptain (Tribute Support).
For twenty years, Tim has focused on Tribute’s mission: to provide industrial distributors cutting edge technology, backed by knowledgeable and personalized support, to help them operate efficiently and gain the competitive edge in this tough economy.
To help distributors streamline their business processes, Tim has forged relationships with major manufacturers. These include partnerships with Bosch-Rexroth, Brennan Industries, Dixon Valve & Coupling, Eaton Corporation, Flexco, Garlock Sealing Solutions, Gates Corporation, Goodyear/Veyance, Gould Corporation, Pall Corporation, Parker Hannifin, Sun Hydraulics, Tuthill, and more.
Over the years, Tribute has been fortunate to cultivate partnerships with leading industry experts, such as: 3Delta Systems, Enlighten.Net, Harland Technology Services, MITS Distributor Analytics, Rubber Tree Systems Mobile, Strategic Pricing Associates, Tour de Force CRM, WarehouseTWO and more.
In addition to leading Tribute, Tim is active in organizations that promote and help small businesses – he’s the former Chair of COSE (the Council of Smaller Enterprises) and is currently the First Vice Chair of the National Small Business Association.
Several staff members celebrate milestone anniversaries this year as well. Most notably, Susie Hopper celebrates her 30th anniversary with Tribute this month. Susie is the VP of the TrulinX division and led the programming team in the development of TrulinX, Tribute’s SQL-based software package.
Other staff milestones this year: Don Benson (25 years), Byron Bragg and Carol Pfile (20 years), John Magensky (15 years) and Tami Carper (10 years).
Many of our clients are celebrating milestone alliances with Tribute as well, with Kraft Fluid Systems of Cleveland and Wilson Company, based in Dallas, celebrating 30 years of partnership with Tribute, Inc. this year. Only a few other companies have more senior alliances with Tribute: B.W. Rogers a Division of Kaman, Applied Energy Company, Controlled Motion Solutions, and The Hope Group.
Tim and the staff at Tribute are proud to have formed such long-lasting and mutually beneficial partnerships and we look forward to another 20 years of collaboration, growth and success.
