NSBA Elects Timothy Reynolds of Tribute, Inc. 2015 Chair
Tim Reynolds, president of Tribute, Inc., a software company focused on industrial distribution, has been elected to lead the National Small Business Association (NSBA) in 2015.
Reynolds is a former chair of the Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE) in Cleveland—one of NSBA's regional affiliates—and currently serves on the board and executive committee of the Greater Cleveland Partnership.
In these roles, Reynolds has been outspoken about the importance of a nonpartisan, small-business focused organization speaking out for small businesses in Washington, D.C. – something NSBA has been doing for more than 75 years.
Not only does Reynolds run a small-business, he works with countless other small firms across the U.S. and Canada through his company's products and services: business management software which enables clients to manage sales, purchasing, inventory, receivables, payables and financials.
"I am proud to serve as Chair for NSBA, a group I've spent several years working with to promote a strong and vibrant small-business community," stated Reynolds. "As an organization, we understand the importance of bipartisanship and compromise and I look forward to carrying that message forward throughout my chairmanship."
The NSBA recently unveiled its Top 10 Priorities for the 114th Congress, a result of last week's Small Business Congress in Phoenix and subsequent voting by members.
NSBA's Top 10 Priorities for the 114th Congress:
- Corporate Tax Reform and Small Business
- Improve Access to Credit and Capital
- Deficit Reduction & Entitlement Reform
- Rein in the Costs of Health Care
- Capital Gains and Dividends
- Tax Extender Permanency
- Export-Import Bank Reauthorization
- National Regulatory Budget
- Immigration Reform
- Strengthen SBA Office of Advocacy
"NSBA is a uniquely member-driven organization, and our votes dictate what we as an organization focus on for the coming two years," stated NSBA Chair Timothy Reynolds.
"These priorities extend beyond just our membership: they are on-par with what we continually hear from our broad national surveys."
Celebrating more than 75 years in operation, NSBA is a staunchly nonpartisan organization advocating on behalf of America's entrepreneurs. NSBA's 65,000 members represent every state and every industry in the U.S. For more information, visit www.nsba.biz or follow them on LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.
