Members of NAHAD (The Association for Hose & Accessories Distribution) recently approved a recommendation by the board of directors to add eligible Manufacturer Representatives as NAHAD members.

This change marks the first time in NAHAD’s thirty-year history that manufacturer reps will be recognized as independent members and afforded the opportunity to take advantage of the association’s membership benefits.

Until recently, reps were only allowed to participate at the annual NAHAD Convention, as designees of attending member manufacturers. A key element of the new Manufacturer Rep membership category is that membership will be afforded to individuals, unlike the current NAHAD Distributor, Manufacturer, Associate and Affiliate company memberships.
