If you’re in the hose fabrication and distribution business, membership in NAHAD (The Association for Hose and Accessories Distribution) is well worth the investment.

NAHAD members include companies engaged in the distribution and manufacture of all types of hose, tubing, couplings, fittings, clamps and related accessories serving the industrial marketplace, as well as firms, like Tribute, Inc., who offer services and products to the industry.

NAHAD provides a medium for communications, education, and training for those in the hose and accessories business and is at the forefront in training and safety in the industry.

NAHAD’s Hose Safety Institute recently announced that its Hose Assembly Fabrication Guides and online Exams for all five hose groups – industrial, hydraulic, corrugated metal, composite and fluoropolymer – have been completely overhauled, revised, and updated.

Hose Safety Institute members may now access the new Fabrication Guides and Exams on the Institute website.

Some of the new and improved features: 

• More illustrations and extensive detail on actual fabrication processes
• Updated exams for each of the five hose groups
• New coupling configurations
• More relevant and easy to use
• Excellent learning aids for new and experienced employees

Hose Safety Institute member locations are required to have at least one person on staff who has successfully completed one of the new Fabrication Exams for each hose group in which that location does business. Click here for more details.
