Design a Useful Widget & You May Win a Free 3D Printer

The team at Product Design & Development is challenging all design engineers and innovators to design or redesign an existing product or technology – a usable widget, utensil, tool, enclosure, or anything else you can think up – that would make life easier and more beneficial for the user. Sorry - no toys!

3d-printerWith the help of celebrity judges, Ben Heck from the element14 Ben Heck Show and Jeremy Wolf, Project Engineer with RedEye, they wiil be choosing three designs over the next three months.

If you’re one of the finalists chosen this summer, they’ll 3D print your design on their Stratasys Uprint and showcase your concept in video and editorial pieces on www.pddnet.com.

After three finalists have been chosen, a grand prize winner will be chosen to receive an Afinia H480 3D Printer. What would you print?
