Our customer spotlight today is focused on John Shelton, President and CEO of Belt Power LLC headquartered in Atlanta, GA. Belt Power LLC is a full service distributor and fabricator of industrial conveyor belting and supplies with offices located in North Carolina, South Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Florida.

With a long association in the belting industry, John came to Belt Power with experience at Fenner Dunlop where he served as the VP of Sales and thirteen years learning the ropes at Beltservice Corporation. In 2007, John and Travis Wilson, now the Executive VP, bought the business from former owner Tim Webster and have since moved the Charlotte location to a larger modern fabrication center.

Belt Power is a full service, value added distributor and fabricator of conveyor belts, conveyor belting equipment, belting accessories and conveyor components and a premier Habasit Distributor. They specialize in plastic modular belting products and are the only US authorized distributor of Intralox plastic modular conveyor belting for the Meat, Poultry and Seafood Industries.

Belt Power is also an authorized sales, repair, and assembly facility for Van der Graaf motorized conveyor drives and offers rubber, hose and gasket products in their Charlotte, NC marketing area. Their RAGCO affiliation assures competitive pricing on industrial gasketing, belting and related rubber products.

John and Travis are proud members of NIBA (The Belting Association) and both take the time to serve this trade association – John is a member of the Board of Directors and the Marketing Committee and Travis serves on the Program Committee. A Tribute user for the past ten years, John has given integral input into Tribute’s Belting Module as well.
