We salute Tribute customer Eric Jensen and his company, Hyquip, on their twentieth year in business.

A long time Tribute customer, Eric Jensen sat down to dinner with Tribute President Tim Reynolds back in 2001 and listened to an interesting proposition. Mr. Jensen was asked to be the very first user of our newly introduced TrulinX Windows based software package.

Eight years later, Eric is regarded as a TrulinX expert and an integral part of the Tribute/TrulinX family. As a past leader of the TrulinX Program Priority Review Board, his advice and industry knowledge have been key in the development of TrulinX software.

Eric Jensen and Mike Paegelow started Hyquip in 1989. Eric's hydraulic experience began in the United States Air Force and continued through his work in major hydraulic firms during his career. His passion for all things “aviation” continues to this day.

Mike obtained a fluid power associate degree and worked as a fluid power technician as well in fluid power sales. This experience coupled with their goal of providing a high level of service made HyQuip the place to go for hose, fittings, and related products.

The first product line they obtained was Aeroquip Hose & Fittings. Hyquip has honored Eaton’s decision to go with a “start-up company” by the distinction of earning Top 24 distributor status in 1999, 2003, 2005 and 2007.

Mike retired and Eric became the owner and General Manager until his retirement in 2014. The company has grown from a small 5 man operation to three locations today. Hyquip is the Eaton authorized distributor of Aeroquip, Everflex, Synflex, Boston, Eaton Brass, and Vickers Filtration product lines. They have two locations in the Milwaukee area that stock Eaton and other product lines for readily available product and service, as well as a 24 hour help line.
