Keynote Speaker: Howard Coleman, Principal at MCA Associates

We are pleased to present as our Keynote Speaker, Howard Coleman, principal at MCA Associates, a management consulting firm, who works with wholesale distribution and manufacturing companies - seeking and committed to operational excellence through continuous improvement solutions.

Howard is also the creator and host of the “MCA Talk” Podcast Series; Distribution on the Cusp of Metamorphosis.

Howard will speak on "How ‘Bots’ Can Change Your Warehouse & DC’s Lifestyle – The 4 Key Success Factors Driving Reinvention" on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 9:30 AM.

You can reach Howard at 203-906-7268 or by email at hcoleman@mcaassociates.com.

How 'Bots' Can Change Your Warehouse & DC's Lifestyle - The 4 Key Success Factors Driving Reinvention

In this keynote session Howard W. Coleman, Principal of MCA Associates, will introduce you to - as well as provide an update on - developments in Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR’s) for distribution-warehouse operations, including fabrication, and other value-added service requirements.

  • What collaborative robotics is all about - their main roles
  • Insights into how you can “future proof’ your warehouse/DC operations by incorporating the “4-key success factors”
  • Why robotics can be an option for smaller to mid-size operations (it’s not only for the “big guys”)
  • A description of the DC/Warehouse functionalities that can be impacted
  • How AMR’s operate and fit into your overall warehouse workflow processes
  • The expanding choices of equipment configurations and load capacities
  • Up-front capital costs - versus the introduction of ‘robotics-as-a-service’ options
  • The impact on warehouse employees; less demand growth stress, combats labor shortages, reduces unnecessary “walk time”, increased safety protocols, acquisition of new warehouse skills, potential for 2x-3x increased productivity
  • How you can determine your potential ROI.
  • Video case studies

Our commentary, photos or videos are meant to be topic representative. MCA Associates has no financial relationship with any vendor depicted. We can, though, through our knowledge of the robotics marketplace, introduce you to qualified vendors - facilitating the introduction process.
