Are You Hosting a Manufacturing Day Event This Year?

MFD_Logo_nodate_2015_R_ColorWant to create interest in the manufacturing industry among local high school and college students?

Consider hosting an event for the annual MFG DAY event.  The official event is scheduled for 10-6-17, but a #MFGDay17 event can happen any day of the year.

Manufacturing Day addresses common misperceptions about manufacturing by giving manufacturers an opportunity to open their doors and show, in a coordinated effort, what manufacturing is — and what it isn’t.

By working together during and after MFG DAY, manufacturers will begin to address the skilled labor shortage they face, connect with future generations, take charge of the public image of manufacturing, and ensure the ongoing prosperity of the whole industry.

Want local talent to consider at career at your company?

MFG DAY provides resources for hosts to help you register, plan and promote your event. Check out our previous article on the positive change in perception of manufacturing due to hosting this event.
