The 2017 TribNet meeting of Tribute, Inc.'s Tribute and TrulinX Software users was recently held in Cleveland and was another successful learning and networking experience.
Located at the Cleveland Downtown Marriott at Key Center, the meeting was in a great location on Public Square. Many attendees from across the country were pleased by Cleveland's bustling and renovated downtown with all the excellent restaurants and myriad entertainments.
Tribute hosted over 160 attendees with many new customers attending and finding value in the software presentations and networking opportunities.
The week began with a day of intense work by the TrulinX PPAB and the Tribute Program Review Committees, where members review and rank the open project lists, helping to determine the direction for future software development.
TribNet kicked off with a welcome from Tribute Inc. president Tim Reynolds and an overview of Tribute’s strategic initiatives. We were honored to have Alicia Booker, VP of Manufacturing at Cuyahoga Community College, as our keynote speaker this year. Ms. Booker discussed strategies for working with local agencies and community colleges to develop the partnerships that will benefit employers in her presentation: The Skills Gap Dilemma.
Tribute would like to extend a warm thank you to our sponsors for exhibiting and presenting breakout sessions. Our Platinum Sponsor, Rubber Tree Systems, celebrated their 10th year of attendance at TribNet and hosted an excellent After Hours party at the Greenhouse Tavern on East 4th Street.
Parker Hannifin representatives Kyle Gerhardstein, Product Sales Manager, and Shawn Mariani, Technology Team Manager, conducted a session for their distributors on the Parker Tracking System and Asset Integrity Management.
Tribute's annual user meeting is a great way to network with your peers and we try to do that in a casual setting. Tribute hosted a pleasant welcome reception at the Marriott the first evening and held our annual president's dinner at Windows on the River in the Flats along the Cuyahoga River.
Elections were held to fill new positions on the TribNet Board as well as the Tribute Program Review and TrulinX Program Priority Assignment Boards.
We appreciate the time our TribNet board and committee members give to the promotion of our meeting and development of the software. We encourage customers to join TribNet and our member's forum on Basecamp.
We look forward to another great meeting next summer – make plans to join us back in Cleveland, June 20th - 22nd, 2018!
