Tribute, Inc. Announces Partnership with IDCO - The Industrial Distributor Cooperative

Tribute, Inc. is pleased to announce its selection by the Industrial Distributor Cooperative (IDCO) as a premium and endorsed supplier of ERP distribution software.

IDCO is the premier co-op for independent distributors serving the industrial community with hose, fittings, gaskets, rubber materials and related products. IDCO members provide their customers with competitive pricing and the knowledge gained through the co-ops network of experts.

More than a third of IDCO's members use Tribute's software to run their businesses efficiently and profitably. With over 35 years of focusing on the hose, sealing, and fluid power industry, Tribute's software provides niche-specific features for distributors and fabricators in this marketplace.

IDCO-1"Tribute is proud to be selected as an IDCO endorsed partner and member of the 'hoser community' as it celebrates its 25th year," states Tim Reynolds, president of Tribute, Inc. "This partnership, along with our longstanding membership in ISD, NAHAD, and NIBA, bolsters Tribute's focus on serving independent distributors in the hose and sealing distribution industry."

TrulinX by Tribute, Inc. will provide IDCO members the tools needed to service their customers and manage inventory at a much superior level offered by other software packages designed for more generic wholesale distribution.

These features include Lot Control for hose, belting, and rubber products, a Hydraulic Hose Assembly configurator with automatic labor calculations by hose length and/or fitting diameter, automatic hose cut-length calculation, a Serial Number generator to track hose assemblies, a counter store sales application, a sophisticated work order management module to track and manage complex assembly's components, labor and burden, plus much more.

Tribute has established partnerships with leading manufacturers in the industry to streamline their distributors' supply chain, which include Brennan Industries, ContiTech, Dixon, Eaton Corporation, Gates Corporation, Garlock, Parker Hannifin, Sun Hydraulics, and more.

Jack Kehm, long time IDCO member and board member, cites Tribute's market relevance and Customer First attitude in helping his company, Power Product Technologies, a distributor, designer, and fabricator of transfer related products, achieve over 50% growth since investing in Tribute's ERP software.

"Power Product Technologies reaps the rewards annually with our investment in Tribute's software.  The pay offs come in the knowledge of their frontline software & hardware support teams," states Kehm.

"Issues are resolved quickly with minimal downtime.  The programs are constantly reviewed and updated to keep them market relevant.  They listen, and act on suggestions by their users. Their Customer FIRST attitude shows up in every department.  It is these factors plus many more that allows PPT to run its day to day business seamlessly and completely focus on our customer base."

Tribute Hosts Successful User's Group Meeting

TribNet-Logo-BlueGreenThe 2017 TribNet meeting of Tribute and TrulinX Software users was recently held in Cleveland and was another successful learning and networking experience.

DowntownLocated at the Cleveland Downtown Marriott at Key Center, the meeting was in a great location on Public Square. Many attendees from across the country were pleased by Cleveland's bustling and renovated downtown with all the excellent restaurants and myriad entertainments.

Tribute hosted over 160 attendees with many new customers attending and finding value in the software presentations and networking opportunities.

The week began with a day of intense work by the TrulinX PPAB and the Tribute Program Review Committees, where members review and rank the open project lists, helping to determine the direction for future software development.

Alicia-BookerTribNet kicked off with a welcome from Tribute Inc. president Tim Reynolds and an overview of Tribute’s strategic initiatives. We were honored to have Alicia Booker, VP of Manufacturing at Cuyahoga Community College, as our keynote speaker this year.

Ms. Booker discussed strategies for working with local agencies and community colleges to develop the partnerships that will benefit employers in her presentation: The Skills Gap Dilemma.

Tribute would like to extend a warm thank you to our sponsors for exhibiting and presenting breakout sessions. Our Platinum Sponsor, Rubber Tree Systems, celebrated their 10th year of attendance at TribNet and hosted an excellent After Hours party at the Greenhouse Tavern on East 4th Street.

NetworkingThanks also to our Gold Sponsors: Enlighten.Net, Tour de Force, Inc., and WarehouseTWO.

And to our Silver Sponsors: 3Delta Systems, Evergreen Consulting, LLC, and Harland Technology Services.

Parker Hannifin representatives Kyle Gerhardstein, Product Sales Manager, and Shawn Mariani, Technology Team Manager, conducted a session for their distributors on the Parker Tracking System and Asset Integrity Management.

Tribute's annual user meeting is a great way to network with your peers and we try to do that in a casual setting. Tribute hosted a pleasant welcome reception at the Marriott the first evening and held our annual president's dinner at Windows on the River in the Flats along the Cuyahoga River.

WOTR-3Elections were held to fill new positions on the TribNet Board as well as the Tribute Program Review and TrulinX Program Priority Assignment Boards.

We appreciate the time our TribNet board and committee members give to the promotion of our meeting and development of the software. We encourage customers to join TribNet and our member's forum on Basecamp.

We look forward to another great meeting next summer – make plans to join us back in Cleveland, June 20th - 22nd, 2018!
